Project descripÂtion
This design based on a square. This form is traÂdiÂtionÂal: underÂstandÂable square-shaped quadÂranÂgle is the basis of all woodÂen conÂstrucÂtion, the sacred space of churchÂes in particular.
The verÂtiÂcal silÂhouÂette of the chapel we borÂrowed from the bell towers.
The main mysÂtery of our chapel hidÂden in its strucÂture — in the walls. A buildÂing that grows from a square base turns into a comÂplex shaped star closÂer to the top, simÂiÂlar to a star — a symÂbol of eterÂnal motion.
The top of the Chapel takes the form of a square again, which stops the motion, but its posiÂtion relÂaÂtiveÂly to the base has already been changed. In its design, the Chapel conÂtains an encryptÂed tranÂsiÂtion from the staÂtÂics of a square to eterÂnal transÂforÂmaÂtions. The moveÂment from clear and familÂiar to mysÂteÂriÂous and mysÂtiÂcal, from being in the time capÂtivÂiÂty to eternity.
